ALA’s Public Policy and Advocacy Office is urgently looking for photos, videos, and stories to illustrate for policymakers and media the value of library services, particularly as it relates to digital equity and inclusion. These images will help ALA shine a spotlight on the work librarians do to help communities.
Libraries of all types offer diverse programming and services to advance digital equity in their communities and campuses. Offerings range from individualized support such as helping a patron connect with their loved ones via Zoom, to offering digital literacy classes to seniors, to lending hotspots for students and teachers. ALA wants to hear and learn more about your library digital equity stories!
